first of all, i know that you are dying to see the new toilet seat that df has purchased for our master bath. (apparently our current seat is only 3 years old, yet there is a crack on the hinge-y part. when df tried to fix it, the other side cracked as well. this led, of course, to the extensive search of toilet seating, materials, cost, hardware, shape, etc. etc. really, it is fascinating). may i introduce to you {dramatic pause}…..our new toilet:
manny has graciously obliged to being the spokes-model (she says she deserves the spotlight, rather than the toilet seat)
note the graceful lines of the brushed nickle hardware
manny’s outfit is all the rage with foot models. here you see the avant-garde stylings of cookie a., creator of the pomatomus pattern from knitty. did you notice the sharp metallic details that jut out artfully from the garment. genius!! just genius!! here is a close up for the fashion editors.

this sweater is going to be warm!! and i mean warm. i just drape the thing over my arm and i immediately feel a difference in temperature. all you warmer-blooded peeps, take note of this if you don’t like to get overheated in your sweaters.ok, i think that’s enough for today.
may you be lucky enough to survive frogtober unscathed.

Very nice! I couldn’t get into the pot pattern, but hope to try again one day…the yarn looks great with it.
Demi is beautiful! A great sweater for freezing cold windy days coming soon to a town near you!
Nice! Your Pomatomus is off the chain! Thanks for heads-up on Demi too, we’d melt away down here. Tell Manny we may be starting a fan club for her!
I love the photo of mannie on the toilet seat … it is very artistic and cool. The dpns only make it better and more interesting.
And, man is that intricate stitch details on that sock. Lovely stitches too.

Hey… Thanks for visiting my blog. Your sock looks great. I’ll keep visiting.
Lovely pomatomus! I’m knitting ‘em too… lots of fun with those initial YOs… and *so* great to see some Demi action! I finally found some perfect yarn for my Demi, which won’t be happening any time soon, given the many sweaters I’ve already started.
Karin would now crackled into life. c8ww I looked half decent. I will. I should be trained. Hmmm, suspender belt and bucked, she finished the c8wc wrapper.
